If I could give this an 11 I would. The room was super comfortable , private, quiet, spotless, great bed with an incredible bathing area. The owners were more than friendly;they made us feel welcome and genuinely cared. After several days when we needed to leave VERY early to travel Graham met us personally at 6 am to help us with our bags. Breakfast was served family style… this was a true inn. The area is just far enough from a small town to give the feeling of staying in a real Scottish estate. If you’re going to the Speyside area, this should be your first choice.

Great value property. Not luxe but very satisfactory. Clean and comfortable. Staff are very pleasant and friendly. Whisky of the month had three very nice choices at a really good price. Wide selection of items for breakfast.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Rooms are spotless, quiet part of Elgin means that you get all the sleep you want, the breakfast is exceptional. Sophie is a great host and you feel welcome from the first moment you see her.
Beautiful and homely Bed and Breakfast. Excellent location for all amenities etc
Breakfast is great just enough.
A great host very accommodating and excellent knowledge of the area and surroundings, and with brilliant stories of old and new. Have stayed twice now and without a doubt stay again. Definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you so much.
This beautiful guest house is at a fabulous location; it's very close to city centre and also to the railway station.
Lyn and Lee are fabulous hosts; they are so very kind and welcoming. Everything at the guest house had a personal touch to it... With everything being personally handled by them,... This was inclusive of the Breakfast served which was super delicious.
Overall we were very impressed by the arrangements at the guest house and would highly recommend it to everyone.
A really nice, cozy and welcoming old school guest house, authentic, easy to reach and near the city center. Really available and kind hosts, sociable and funny, the INCLUDED BREAKFAST is amazing, plentiful, tasty and so good!
Beautiful old building with comfortable and high standards rooms, delicious breakfasts and first of all the great hosts :)
The building is located near the city center and near to restaurants. It a good point to explore the surrounding area as well
Lovely family run guest house. Right in the town centre at the end of The High Street. Very close to the Cathedral and Biblical garden. The host was charming and very helpful. A very good choice for breakfast. The house was very clean and comfortable. Only drawback, room 1, wash basin was in the actual room. It said parking available - some limited daytime parking on the road, overnight ok. A massive Pay and Display carpark opposite, but couldn't see prices. Apart from that I would recommend it. Good value for money.
The Pines was excellent. The building is beautiful and charming as are the interiors. Our room was spacious and comfortable, as well as quiet. Host Lyn and Lee were incredibly welcoming and helpful with suggestions for evening meals.
