Exactly as described - perfect two bed place so good for separate rooms for two friends staying with big beds. Very easy to find and good communications.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Normally I avoid private rentals as the tendency is for the host to behave as if it is a favour for you to stay, and this was no exception.
Emails with rules sent before arrival then 4 pages of rules to follow when there.
The location was ideal for the area. Breakfast was not included. The host (Heather) was welcoming, the decor was attractive and had excellent en-suite facilities. The king size bed was comfortable.
Close to a shop and some eateries.
Comfortable bed and relatively spacious room with wardrobe and TV.
Lovely host.
Bathroom was clean and easily accessible.
Heather is fantastic, let me just start there. You are in excellent hands with this guest house. Although unconventional for some, as a converted house/ attachment, the size was wonderful, the rooms to a lovely standard and nicely decorated and we were beyond happy to spend our evening, after a very long day, there. Heather also went above and beyond to accommodate our late checkin due to restrictions we hadn't anticipated with the event we were attending. 10/10
I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at Arendelle, in a lovely street, a great location and only 2 minutes away from the bus stop and shops.
Very friendly staff that helped keep me right with directions and even came to the bus stop to ensure my safe arrival and being very delayed.
I had a lovely room, very comfortable bed. Beautiful bathroom. Decorated really nice. clean and tidy. Everything I needed in the room and a plus having sky movies. I'd definitely stay again and recommend Arendelle. Great value for money.
Big room and bathroom, very nicely decorated and has Sky TV. Great host and good location for me (visiting family). Price is very reasonable.
