we booked late so probs last rm , the bed needed throwing away it was terrible.. i never slept all wk end very uncomfortable worst materess i have ever slept on..lumpy springs sticking up.. loose worn bed just terrible....owners said they were waiting for a new bed.

Everything about Ivy House was lovely. Rooms well presented and clean, location was perfect for exploring Dolgellau and Duncan was friendly and attentive throughout. Breakfast was fab! Will definitely stay again

The breakfast was fantastic and served freshly cooked to us every morning; it certainly set us up for the day. Freshly squeezed juice, a selection of cereals and yogurt was also on offer. My request of having eggs on toast each morning was happily cooked.
The Old Farmhouse is set in beautiful grounds with stunning views. The accommodation was clean and cosy with a lovely hot shower.
Christina and Paul really took the time to make us feel very welcome and to make our stay the best it could be.

The location was great for us as we travelled by train and literally stepped off the train and was outside the hotel, the room its self was lovely and had a fantastic view. Staff were friendly and the hotel was quiet. Great location to the beach.
Breakfast was exceptional and very delicious. We loved the peaceful surroundings. Hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful when asked for directions regarding dinner and a quiet beach. Llanfair beach was definitely a better option for us than Barmouth. Also there was a beautiful waterfall nearby up the mountain. My kids loved the wide windowsill in the family room, they sat up there and watched the trains. The view was absolutely beautiful from that window!

Lovely hosts and great location. Breakfasts were fantastic and evening meal (optional) was superb. A good base for visiting Snowdonia and easy to get out walking or cycling.
Beautiful designed property with plenty of space. Tasty breakfast and plenty of wood to keep warm. Hosts light fire every afternoon so it’s nice and warm when you return from a day out. Very private and and quiet.

It was our second time at Bryn Teg Barn, we spent a week in July and fallen in love.
We particularly liked a peaceful location, with beautiful views and sunsets.
The barn is cosy, clean and comfy, with the wood burner which was a bonus.
Bethan and Keith are great hosts, nothing is too much to ask.
I can highly recommend the place, it has a great vibe, we definitely will be back!
