Fantastic vegetarian breakfast that was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in Scotland. Wonderful hosts. Comfortable rooms. Great selection of whisky in the snug. Fresh farm eggs. Close to Dunvegan Castle and Gardens.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The owners are wonderful people and their breakfast was fantastic. The location is excellent and central to exploring the beauty of Skye. Now if they could have only done something about the weather...glad we had rain pants, jacket and waterproof shoes!

We loved Carters Rest and look forward to returning someday! Jonathan and Simone were gracious hosts with impeccable eyes for details. The B&B was very comfortable! We enjoyed relaxing and socializing with other guests in the dining/living area. The food was spectacular as were the samplings of local whiskeys! We ate our dinners here as well as breakfast. The meals were truly gourmet and delicious. The room was comfy and the accommodations overall were 5-star! We were within an hour’s drive of many interesting attractions on the Isle of Skye!

It was very clean and homie, and, although we didn’t have time to use the outdoor seating area, it was lovely. There was plenty of parking for us as well.

It was a basic room with an ensuite but very comfortable. I didn't meet Norah but she messaged me daily to make sure things were good and if I needed anything. You can hear noises from the other rooms but there are quiet hours from 11pm-6am. I am a light sleeper but was not woken up until morning hours. I am satisfied with my stay and would stay there again.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The property was beautiful - both internally and the location with the stunning views.
The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome by adding some extra touches to the property to give us a taste of Skye.
The views from the picnic table made for a perfect cup of tea in the morning as the sun rose and it was very quiet and peaceful!
Would highly recommend this property to anyone considering a stay on the outskirts of the town.
We loved our stay at The Tables Guest House! Janet and Stuart were brilliant hosts - so welcoming and friendly. Their attention to detail was wonderful and quite a delight. The breakfasts were delicious - I loved the Scottish Pancakes. Sitting in the conservatory, sipping on a local beer and watching Wimbledon was very relaxing! Dunvegan is a great location, we highly recommend the “Two Churches Walk” through heather and woods. Thanks Stuart and Janet - we look forward to staying again! 😊
Babas rooms were the perfect place to stay - spacious, quiet, spotlessly clean, super comfy bed and great location. The separate lounge/mini kitchen area is very inviting with comfortable armchairs, TV etc and provides a fridge microwave, kettle, coffee machine and tea/coffee provisions. Baba is the perfect host and quietly and calmly goes out of her way to make your stay memorable. Just loved this place - a true home away from home.
Great hosts, great location. The freshly baked scones and cakes and the stocked fridge were lovely touches, really appreciated. The pod is very well equipped and very comfortable, an excellent value stay. Will definitely use again.
Everything was perfect !! A beautiful , cossy and spotlessly clean loft with stunning views. It is a wonderful quiet place where you can enjoy nice walks The location is quite good to discover the isle .
Carys is a great host and has everything ready for an excellent stay at the Loft: amenities as if you were in a 5 star hotel and coffee, milk, bread, cheese etc etc …
We had problems with a damaged wheel in our car and she was extremely helpful !! Many thanks Carys !!!
