stay bed and breakfast, hotel in Dunfermline

Offering river views, stay bed and breakfast in Culross offers accommodations and a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi.

Stay is a beautiful B&B with friendly, gracious hosts, Elaine and Charlie, who go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable and happy. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. Much of the ingredients are fresh from Elaine's garden and prepared that morning. For example, I enjoyed a different recipe for fruit compote in my yogurt every morning! It was delicious! Elaine and Charlie truly make you feel like family. When I got a cold the first day and had to rest in my room, they made me a care package of extra tea, coffee, snacks, and an orange. Stay B&B represents the best of what a B&B should be, and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful property located in a great part of the city! Not too far from the Royal Mile but far enough away that it wasn’t too loud.

Hillhouse, hotel in Dunfermline

Providing free WiFi, Hillhouse offers rooms in Edinburgh, 1.2 mi from Edinburgh Zoo and 1.3 mi from Murrayfield Stadium. The property is set 2.1 mi from EICC and offers free parking.

There is nothing nice to say about this property as the owner was not truthful in his description or pictures. We spent 15 minutes here before the party we were with insisted on leaving rather than stay. The owner refused a refund and really had no interest in why we came and left within 15 minutes. He made no attempt to discuss it. Booking even called him and he would not negotiate. So, Bookings said "sorry, we cant do anything". For the same price we paid we could have had a modern hotel room or stayed in the plush Band B we had in Edinburgh old town. So sorry I trusted Bookings.com

Loved my stay at Hilton Farm Steadings. Lovely and clean with a beautiful new well equipped kitchen. Lots of nice and thoughtful touches ( lovely christmas decorations ) and the hosts were very helpful, Had a good shower in the wetroom and bed was very comfortable. Nice and peaceful area perfect for a quieter break. Car parking was fine as there is a car park for the cottages. Cottage is located on the outskirts of Rosyth. A short drive to ferrytoll Park and ride for easy access to Edinburgh City centre. Would highly recommend .

Lovely welcoming gentleman who owns the place and does everything on his own. Rooms were great, clean, modern and everything you could ask for. Great location - just outside Dunfermline City Centre so nice and quiet but still only 10 minutes in a taxi to the hustle and bustle. The hotel also has a bar inside which is ideal for drinks before you go out.

A verm friendly and warm welcome. The host was particularly helpful. Lovely comfortable rooms with nice finishing touches. Very clean. Great views. Great location for access into Edinburgh, an easy 5-10 minute walk to the station but a couple of nice restaurants/bars within walking distance too. Would definitely consider staying there again instead of the city centre.

Perfect place to stay, in a rather quiet street. Just a 10 to 15 minutes (uphill ;-) walk to the city centre. Hosts and also the neighbours next door were very friendly and always ready to help.

Great location. The owner Alan and his son were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The room and showers were very modern with everything you needed. They dont do evening meals but were more than happy to set me a table so i could eat a take out. Breakfast was soo nice, had his famous porridge which was lovely and also poached eggs on toast. He said didnt want me to go hungry!!! Excellent value for money and will be staying here again
