This was a lovely seaside house which Steve and his wife, an art teacher, have done an amazing job decorating, including hanging some of her own abstract paintings. They met us at the door and we had a great conversation. I felt it was a fine opportunity to interact with local people. They had some good travel tips for us. We liked the fact that we were near Belfast but not in the city. It was a short drive to Bangor which is a nice seaside village. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, especially with carrying my friend's bags up and down the stairs.

The Old Schoolhouse Inn is very nice. Terry and Avril were wonderful hosts. Our spacious room was beautifully decorated and furnished with lovely linens. The shower had very hot water and good water pressure. We had a delicious Irish breakfast with fresh baked goods. The parking at this location is great and easy to maneuver. Terry had great sightseeing suggestions for the area.
We ate dinner at The Poacher's Pocket Restaurant which is about 10 mins from the Inn. The restaurant was beautiful with delicious foods. Go early as they get very busy. They have a lovely food gift shop attached to the restaurant.

The room was fine. It had what we needed for a short stay. Check-in was easy.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
This is the second time now we have stayed here, love everything about it. How peaceful and relaxing it is, and this time the labs and sheep made it even better we loved watching them all weekend. Close enough to drive into Millisle or Donaghadee if want to do anything, hottub is a great bonus. Great hosts who are happy to help with anything you may need.
We had a really lovely stay at Seaview. Our host Ashleigh was very easy to get in touch with when we were arriving. The house was spotless and so cosy. It had everything you need and the beds were so comfortable. It is in a great location and it was fab to wake up in the morning and look out at the sea. We went to a little pub in the town, which is a very short walk, and had a great night. The staff and locals were so friendly. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and hopefully get back ourselves.
The house was in a great location with parking which was fab.
The hosts had everything you could need there for you.
Great for shops walks etc
The house was clean tidy and inviting.
I really liked the homely feel this property had. The property was very clean and had many extras such as towels, tea, coffee and sugar. The beds were very comfy and heating was provided. I would definitely stay here again as it was a great location and the hosts made it a lovely stay.
The house was absolutely spotless and in a great location. Lovely walk along the prom and really cute coffee shops. The house is so comfortable and the hostess left all the essentials. Would definitely recommend.
