Abbeyfield B&B, hotel in Dufftown

Situated in Dufftown, in a historic building, 22 km from Huntly Castle, Abbeyfield B&B is a guest house with a garden and shared lounge.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Abbeyfield. I was made to feel very welcome and was well looked after during my stay. The atmosphere at the guest house was very relaxed and the house itself was very well presented. A good balance between modern and characterful. My room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Food at Abbeyfield was delicious and plentiful. The guest house is a little way out of the centre of Dufftown, but still easily walkable for most people. About 10 minutes for me, and I tend to saunter. So - all good.

A small, cozy and 200 years old building that is now a 4 rooms hotel, 5 minutes walk from Elgin city center. Pete the owner is amazing, very kind, excellent hospitality and service awareness. Very good breakfast, cooked to order, big rooms in an old, antique style - simply beautiful. Bonus - Pete has an amazing collection of old classic cars including a 1920s Rolls-Roys ….

The Fife Arms Hotel, hotel in Keith

Located just 18 km from Huntly Castle, The Fife Arms Hotel provides accommodation in Keith with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a housekeeping service.

Privacy, quiet time, comforting bed , cleanliness and welcome when arriving into dining room for breakfast, which had a huge choice of all food requirements. Additionally, I greatly appreciated the kindness of Mrs. Taylor driving me to the Buckie crematorium due the taxi cancelling my booking. The cost of my one- night stay at “ The Fife Arms,” was EXCELLENT value .

A very friendly and extremely well appointed stay in the most perfect location. The staff were all helpful and the evening meal and breakfast were very good. Parking was right outside and the town was quiet at night. To stay at a location with such beautiful drinking water you understand why so many distilleries exist nearby.
