Breakfast was OK since it was free.
Our room was lovely and cosy warm, it was clean, and everything worked OK even the TV reception was good this time. The gentleman at the reception went out of his way to make us welcome and said if there was anything we needed just to let him know.
Dingwall is a nice little town to visit with ample shops etc. We enjoyed a lovely Indian meal at the Chilli Masala restaurant only a very short walking distance from the waverly Inn.

I'm not sure I could express how wonderful this place is! Gunta, the hostess is kind, friendly and very accommodating. Our rooms were immaculate and well stocked, plenty of storage for personal items, hooks to hang our coats on, places to put our luggage (not the floor), hair dryer hung in plain site, outlets well placed, good lighting. The description says there is a washer and dryer which is true, what it didn't say is that Gunta takes care of that as well. She washed, dried, folded and delivered our laundry to our door. She did offer us dinner as well and had 4 selections for us. Everything was delicious and nicely presented. We also had a lovely breakfast in the morning. We highly recommend this accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay at Carisbrooke Guest House. The host, Joy, was kind and welcoming. He provided a wonderful breakfast with plenty of choices each morning. We stayed in a room with an ensuite bath, which was quiet and private. Just a short walk into Inverness city center, this was a perfect location to stay for several days while exploring the area.

We found this to be a pleasant, quiet location to stay just outside of Inverness, with a view of the firth. The room was small but comfortable. I particularly appreciated that they stocked "real" coffee and a press pot, rather than instant coffee, in the room.

Very convenient to things we wanted to see. Pleasant owner willing to act as concierge.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
We have the most wonderful stay at the Guesthouse. We recomand It to everyone that likes quiet and peaceful environment. It’s tucked away by the beautiful lock surrounded by pine and leaf forest. Fabulous breakfast and warm and welcoming hosts puts you in the right atmosphere for adventures.

Breakfast was good. Continental but included fresh soft fruit. There was also the opportunity to boil your own egg. Host was friendly and helpful. Place was vey quiet, scarcely any other guests. Room was warm and usefully had a small table and chairs. It also had a very useful fridge.
Excellent room with a huge and comfortable bed. Lovely quiet location. The road in and out is really worth it. Great location for cyclists. Nice continental breakfast.
We booked Lochview Guesthouse for our final night of the NC500 before returning to Inverness and it was a real highlight of the trip. A beautiful house in a lovely, peaceful location and we were looked after incredibly well. Derek and Fiona were marvellous hosts and I really appreciated their flexibility around our timings, especially as we had a small child in tow! Strongly recommended.
Very friendly and welcoming host. When we arrived I felt I've been there before and at the last day we planned to get back to this wonderful place. Breakfast was amazing every morning, our room was clean every day. Bathroom is very spacious, also bed is huge and very comfy. The location is 10/10. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommend to stay at the Lochview Guesthouse.
FANTASTIC- Relaxed, clean and comfortable. Great, accommodating host where nothing is too much trouble. Superhero to run the guest house alone too. Breakfast superb and facilities in rooms.
