I loved the secluded, rural location and the serenity of the beautiful and tastefully decorated house. Our room was extremely comfortable, the hosts were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were outstanding! It was good to have the opportunity to meet the other guests around the spacious dining room table.

Great location close to the train station and city center. A very quiet large apartment with a strong WI-FI connection and a balcony. Staff replied fast when I had a question or an issue. The apartment comes with one parking spot.

The hosts were very warm and welcoming while the room was comfortable and cosy. There were tea and coffee making facilities, and biscuits and sweeties. There was also a good TV and access to major subscription channels. To cap it all it was so quiet at night. Lastly it is exactly what it says it is, quirky and quaint.

Great location, central but quiet, a 5 minute walk to the town centre. No on-street parking but very cheap long-stay car park in walking distance. Justine and Mounir are super friendly hosts and we loved having a chat. It was nice to meet Captain the parrot, too! You can see the TLC they put into their house, it's very small but very cute. It was nice to have Netflix in our room on a nice large TV to relax after a busy day!
Great location for visiting Colchester. Everything we wanted to see was less than a 15 minute drive from the apartment. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay, such a quiet location. Great communication with hosts. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to others.
We stayed in a lovely comfortable double room in the main building of Colchester Boutique Hotel and enjoyed delicious breakfasts, free wifi, handy bar, onsite parking and good quiet position in the town. Our friendly helpful host, James, and his caring team of staff were great - thoroughly recommended.
