Location is great, just on the back street in Castleton (near the chippy!) Space for 4 cars.
We were given clear instructions on how to enter the property with access codes, and our room was great (at the end of the corridor).
There is a kitchenette in the room, which comprises of kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge, with crockery, glasses and cutlery. We were also given some boxes of cereal and some milk in the fridge, very unexpected and a lovely gesture.
The bed was comfy, very peaceful rooms. The room was a little cold at first, but it warmed up over the weekend.
There was a Smart TV in the room, guess you could log in to your Netflix or Amazon accounts if you wanted, although we didn't.
Wifi worked great (thank goodness as there was no phone signal!)
We will stay again (if they'll have us!)

The View is in a location with the most beautiful views of the Peak Distirct. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and Lisa and Pete have thought of everything you could possible need and more. We were overwhelmed with the attention to detail. We've never stayed in a place that is as perfect as this in terms of facilities, cleanliness and comfort. I was born in the house many years ago and Pete spent a long time talking to us and showing us how brilliantly they had renovated their home. It was a very special visit for us so thank you Pete and Lisa. I hope we'll be back next time we are visiting from Australia.

Having stayed at the hotel each year (fishing in the Derbyshire Wye - paid) The location / views are exceptional. Very convenient for the fishing and walking. The renovated rooms are excellent (particularly with the balcony view)
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The location the guesthouse is ideal and no more than 3 to 5mins to any location in Castleton. Our room was well equipped, relaxing and spacious. Our hosts greeted us on arrival and gave us a few hints and tips regarding the several watering holes that were nearby.
Lovely little place- only has two rooms and we had them both for two nights.
Both rooms were a great size. Little sofa in each room.
Was welcomed by Alan, who is a lovely helpful and friendly host.
He responded quickly and happily to all our needs.
Tea/coffee facilities in rooms and we were provided with biscuits on both nights.
The beds were large and comfortable and it was very quiet so got a good nights sleep.
Lisa was an extremely helpful host. I left something behind and she immediately contacted me and offered to mail it for me. The cottage is charming and cosy. Highly recommended.
Wonderful location. Very quiet and peaceful and a great area for walkers. Close enough for a 10min stroll into the village of Castleton via public footpaths. Great cooked breakfast/ cereal/ fruit etc. Most importantly great hosts.
