Crooklands Hotel, hotel in Crooklands

Crooklands Hotel is 4 miles from Kendal and one mile from junction 36 of the M6 motorway. It offers en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and free parking.

Our rooms were excellent. Clean and nicely decorated with good quality furniture and furnishings and well-equipped with toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. We had asked for an accessible room for my partner's mother and this was supplied, with our room conveniently situated next door. The breakfast was very nice and we also had an evening meal in the restaurant. The reception and serving staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout, making sure that we had a suitable table for our practical needs. The food was excellent and good value for money. The hotel is very close to both Kendal and Kirby Lonsdale so perfect for a short break away to recharge your batteries. We will definitely return.

Great location for accessing Capernwray diving centre, the west coast e.g. Morecambe and of course the Lakes! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room very comfortable with lots of lovely extras such as bottled water and a range of hot drink choices. The meals served in the restaurant are delicious. Hosts went out of their way to provide us an early breakfast with plenty of choice on offer including both hot and cold options. A lovely stay and would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

The couple that ran the pub were fantastic hosts! The pub itself had a great atmosphere - not too rowdy and not too quiet, just right. Lovely locals and very welcoming. The breakfast was great, good ingredients and well cooked, we were just sad that we didn’t get to sample the other food as we heard good things from the locals! The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable, we slept very well.

We liked everything about this Bed and Breakfast accommodation. it was our first visit but it won’t be our last as it’s also in one of our favourite locations in England. Mel, the host, is both charming and professional. she has thought of everything you might need and offers a breakfast menu that is a little different from the standard offerings.
