A gorgeous guest house, beautifully furnished, including all sorts of Cornish themes being pulled into the interior decor, which was really to be appreciated, given the mad, busy attraction St. Ives has become. Tucked away in a pretty, quiet, town lane, it’s a little gem of a place to duck into (hanging baskets overflowing and vibrant by the front door). Our room let us look out over the harbour, the bay, and all the coast at least as far as Godrevy Point, and on the slate rooftops close to, herring gulls touch down, just briefly! The place captures something of St. Ives very well, in a good way. Loved it.

Great location with stunning views set in a lovely property. The accommodation was very well maintained and the owners were kind and helpful. They even left a gift bag for my dog, the room was so spacious and very comfortable! We will be back. Highly recommend.

Historic & charming building in the heart of the oldest part of the town. Ken greeted us at the door and was friendly & helpful. Lots of lovely shops, restaurants, cafes nearby, and a stones throw to the harbour and all other amenities.
Penzance Cottage is situated in Penzance, 6.1 km from St Michael's Mount, 16 km from Minack Theatre, and 40 km from Lizard Lighthouse & Heritage Centre.

Really quiet out of the way property a short walk from the beach and great restaurant. We only stayed for one night, had great weather and the host was really friendly.
Izzy was a fabulous host. She was helpful before we arrived and her instructions made it easy to find. She welcomed us and left a lovely stocked fridge and biscuits and chocolates. The local St Ives toiletries were great. She has thought of everything to make it a comfortable stay and the place is immaculately clean. There’s a nice private courtyard for coffee in the morning before a day at Carbis Bay beach, which is down a very steep hill! It’s in a quiet residential area.
It was a wonderful stay. The welcome, accommodation, view & food was peerless. The host's attention to detail sets the standard for casual accommodation. Getting to St Ives was a pleasant (if adventurous via the costal path) walk and the alternative of using the train was simple & cheap. We also used the excellent bus service that is accessible at the top of the hill. There are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area.
Great location to Carbis bay beach and Close to St Ives. Very comfortable stay breakfast had everything you need for a great start to your day. Adrian the host is lovely and a great host.
Breakfast excellent, especially liked the fresh fruit option, although hubby very happy with his Full English. Parking easy & on site. Hosts very welcoming & helpful. Not an issue for us, but guests need to be aware this is a hilly area, so walk to beach is down a steep hill. Frequent, cheap train to St Ives, so leave the car behind when visiting restaurants etc.
We had the most amazing stay at the Green Apple Bed and Breakfast! The room and breakfast was lovely and the B&B is in an great location. Also a massive thank you to Adrian who was an amazing host! Adrian was so helpful and attended to all our needs during our stay. I highly recommend the Green Apple B&B and we can’t wait to return!
Lovely friendly host, great breakfast, comfy room and facilities. Great location to walk into St Ives along the coast path. Don't be put off by the area you drive through to get there. It's a safe, friendly and super quiet location.
