A beautiful area in the Peak District, great hikes. A lovely comfortable stay in a well equipped space with everything you could need for a good break away. On sunnier days the view is perfect!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Lovely property in a charming place slightly off the beaten track. Delightful hosts and superb breakfasts. Very convenient for Buxton and a great location for walking in the Peak District
The property was in a great location, perfect to get around on foot.
The property was extremely comfortable and spacious. Amanda was a great host, very responsive and helpful.
Everything was perfect! The room was so lovely & felt very private & quiet. Hosts were super nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit bowls, cereal, yoghurts and very tasty freshly cooked hot food! Great location for Peaks walks, just a short drive away.
Great location, quiet, with walking options right from the door. (I walked to Hen Cloud, The Roaches, and Lud's Church without having to drive anywhere, and to Chrome Hill after a short drive to Longnor).
There's a nice area with picknick tables to sit outside.
Hosts were very friendly and brought me a cafetierre after I noticed it wasn't in the room.
Spacious, light room. Very clean, tidy, well presented, with all one needs.
Quiet road.
Only 5 minutes from town by car.
Great hosts to deal with - Very kind and helpful
Great location which was close to Buxton but quiet.
We were extremely well looked after by the hosts and Paul was a font of information. Breakfast was fab with lovely fresh fruit and a super cooked breakfast.
One of the best breakfasts I have had in many a visit, better than most hotels. The breakfast room was charming, quaint and comfortable. Great choice of food. Great host.
