Everything ... It was exceptional, more than we expected . It was a stop off on the way home from Devon to Scarborough ... The owners came to greet us & couldn't be more . friendly lovely couple who went above & beyond to make sure we had everything we needed the place was exceptionally clean , comfy , bed , & they had thought of everything with little special touches Bread biscuits etc!. made our little dog welcome . Please respect their place with your dog as they have put a lot of effort into making your stay comfortable . . Wish. we had booked another night . We would have paid more as we thought the price was cheap for what you get . Highly recommend & you won't be disappointed if you go here , Great Retreat 10 /10. From Mr & Mrs Storey. Xx

The lovely guest room had everything we needed and more. The problem was the mattress, neither my husband or I slept all night and both had aching backs the next day. We both found the mattress too soft, it was foam rubber with a topper. Not what one would expect considering the excellent standard of the room.

Every convenience was catered for with TV , Coffee machine etc. Excellent host who was very welcoming.
Excellent Bar / Restaurant below with a good choice of Local beers and other drinks served by an engaging Barman. Food was good and a varied choice , tasty and well cooked. Great location and overnight parking was just outside.

The Old Pumping Station is very quiet and nice and relaxing the bed was very comfortable the place was very clean and tidy and not far from Iron Bridge went there for my Birthday very nice place the host was very helpful if needed will definitely stay again
Great location in the high street near all local amenities. Free parking. Child friendly hotel. Friendly owners, they were great with our 4 year old. He loved the child friendly bed and bedding. Good size room and quiet location. Comfy bed.
