Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Lovely couple taking good care of travelers.
The room was large, bright, quiet, and comfortable with self-service tea tray and cookies.
Every morning, there are various kind of ham & cheese, freshly baked croissant, toast, coffee/tea, cereal, fresh fruits, and juices. In the afternoon, there is a freshly baked sweet, made by the owner to go with tea, after returning tired from outings.
Very nice place, good facilities, fully equiped kitchen, cozy living room, clean bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was way better than I expected considering it's a hostel and definitely good value for money. Very quiet after 10 pm.
The hosts made us feel so welcome and taken care of. There was cake, water and milk, cookies and coffee in the room every day. Everything was clean, the room was big, the beds comfy. The breakfast was great, I loved the fresh fruit.
We lived absolutely everything !
Great location for us and our dogs. Enjoyed Broadford hotel for pool and a ping in eves that we weren’t snuggled up at home. Walked the dogs each day on the beach infront of house when tide out. Close
to amenities, very very comfortable bed, amazing shower and dual baths. Amazing hosts and very well equipped house with just about everything thought of !
Xx
A great hostel. Great location in Broadford, close to bus stops and restaurants. Room was excellent, a good size and clean cot provided. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Kitchen looked well-equipped, with several washing machines. WiFi worked well throughout.
Cosy and charming little cottage. Great view and location. Working fireplaces. Excellent kitchen. Comfortable mattress. Awesome outdoor area and lots of wildlife to spot (resident otter, birds and across the loch some deer). Quiet and away from the crowds. Looks better than the photos suggest. Helpful host.
