An absolutely delightful residence, constructed sympathetically within an existing barn structure, surrounded by endless glorious countryside. Quirky but finished to the highest level, the owner has created a unique accommodation which should enthral and delight all who stay there. I would ignore any ridiculous ‘negative’ reviews and give this wonderful place a try.

The location is excellent for key areas in the Cotswolds.

Beautiful, very well appointed, like it was your own home. All we could need was there. Bed so comfortable. Hosts were great, good communication. Great location for us attending a family wedding at the local church. Will definitely visit again x
Helpful introduction from the host on arrival. Plentiful tea/coffee, plus milk & breakfast cereals. Everything very clean. Lots of books/DVDs for if the weather isn't so good. Big lounge/dining room. Well kitted out kitchen. Nice Italian restaurant (La Strada) within walking distance. Close to the Ridgeway, White Horse & Avebury standing stones.
Our second stay at The Old Bakery Annex, this time for 10 days. It again proved to be a very good choice. Very friendly hosts, uncomplicated key handover even though we were delayed. Very safe area, convenient parking in front of the house. Well equipped kitchen, good bathroom, bed and towels etc. Perfect for us visiting relatives in the village.
Had such a lovely stay here! The annex was perfect! It was roomy and comfortable, the kitchen had absolutely everything you needed and even some nice extra touches. The hosts were lovely, welcoming and helpful, and very accomodating. The road is quiet and I wasn't bothered by any road noise. It was a great base to explore the nearby countryside and had everything I could possibly need to be at home with my three dogs for a few nights! Highly recommend.
Lovely quiet place, warm, cosy and spacious. The bed is very comfy and the annex is well equipped and nicely decorated. It was easy to get the bus to Avebury or Swindon from down the road. Had a great stay!
