The breakfast was awesome. The fresh fruit and traditional breakfast were exceptional, and the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. I wish we could have arrived sooner to enjoy the amenities on the property, but unfortunately, we didn't arrive until late. Despite our late arrival, our host greatly us warmly and made us feel welcome.

The property itself is full of character and old fashioned luxury. The way they have kept original features whilst decorating to an up to date standard is impressive.
The Sherborne Lodge is located in Ilfracombe, a pretty seaside resort on the North Devon coast, with rugged green cliffs and an Iron Age fort standing 377 feet above sea level.

The hosts were so accommodating. They were friendly and welcoming but upheld their standards of professionalism and integrity the entire visit. The quality of the service was without a doubt, that of a high end boutique bed and breakfast. The choice of decor, cleanliness and even the eggs florentine were fantastic. It is clear from the way the place is cared for that this I passion for these hosts. I would 100% stay here again!

Lovely comfortable and cozy unit for a short stay in Barnstaple. Great hosts, helpful and friendly, looked after us well. Nice garden setting at rear of house with separate entrance. We also had the breakfast one morning, excellent continental style food. A lovely quiet spot.
What a lovely place to visit! Cosy, comfortable and in a great location, the Coach House is beautifully decorated and a pleasure to stay at.. Amy and her family were great hosts, we did a lovely walk that was suggested and the fresh eggs were a really nice touch.

Great location, and can get takeaways delivered. Debbie is a great host and very attentive. Everything was perfect, can’t recommend enough.

Great location with a couple of nice places to eat
This was a lovely, genuine bed and breakfast. The hosts had renovated the historic building and live on the property and welcome you. The recent renovation is done in a very tasteful and chic way. The breakfast options provided were fresh and nicely presented. Whilst other properties provide only soap and shampoo, they had thoughtfully chosen toiletries. Bed was very comfortable. Guest house is walking distance to long stay car park (cheap), train station, across the bridge to high street and restaurants.
