It was an amazing place; I was so happy with my experience being there. I have had many bad experiences, but I truly enjoyed it; it was a clean, well-prepared room, and the towels and stuff were so clean. The loo was clean, and the shower was better than some hotels. Everything is worth what I paid, and I am happy about it. so much I also appreciate owner information and being responsible for needs.

Holburn Guesthouse, hotel in Banchory

Just a 13-minute walk from Duthie Park and 0.8 miles from David Welch Winter Gardens, Holburn Guesthouse features accommodations in Aberdeen, with a garden.

Location to City Centre West was just over 1 mile - easy walk, safe in the evening (plenty of people out on the street). Guest house was very clean and well-kept (including the bathrooms), my accommodation was a single room with a closet, sink and vanity, and a desk. (the system wouldn't let my rating on Facilities and Cleanliness to post - both Excellent!). For the moderate price, I wasn't expecting such a clean and quiet accommodation. Because of my schedule I never had the opportunity to meet Irene, but she was available via messaging for any questions or needs.

The owners were warm and hospitable. Location is decent with a bus stop just outside. Nice sized room with small tv. The only downside is having to walk downstairs to use the bathroom and it is shared with several other rooms. Very clean and safe place to stay.

Lovely quiet location with good views. Lovely fresh salad leaves grown on the premises. Compact property but all facilities available and a lovely garden to explore which is surrounded by fields. Very helpful hosts who supplied a large well stocked welcome tray - difficult to eat it all before we left!

Marilyn and her Mum are the perfect hosts. We had a lovely time here. The room was amazing we had everything we could have wanted including our own coffee machine fresh fruit and a bathroom that was absolutely superb. The breakfast was stunning. The peace and quiet is just lovely. We spent ages watching the local wildlife from our bedroom window seat.
