Ashlea Guest House, hotel in Banbury

Ashlea Guest House, a property with a garden, is situated in Banbury, 26 km from Blenheim Palace, 26 km from Walton Hall, as well as 33 km from Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

The host, Aymar (if I remember correctly - apologies if not!), was very friendly. The room and whole premises were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Had to leave early, so couldn't try the breakfast. If it was anything like the meticulousness of the bedroom and en suite, I'd wager it was pretty good.

Situated in a lovely village. Comfortable room with easy access, as requested, and charming discreet decor. Small bathroom with good shower. Appreciated the small fridge with real milk for tea or coffee. Continental breakfast was delicious and very much enjoyed the choice of fresh fruits, including apricots, strawberries and nectarines, presented with Greek yoghourt. Very welcoming hosts. A delightful overnight stay. Thank you.

The venue was almost impossible to fault. Everything about the interior, the furnishings, the decoration and the bespoke cabinet work was excellent. The hostess was charming and the service impecable. Breakfast was the best I have ever experienced in a bed and breakfast establishment. Hoorah! The best of Britsh hospitality.
