Breakfast was lovely. Granola was scrummy. Cooked Breakfast was well presented, hot on arrival and was a perfect amount. Poached eggs were cooked to perfection - super treaty!
Room was vey clean, had good black out blinds so it was dark still in the morning and it was very quiet outside.
Sarah the host was very attentive, created some amazing little cosmopolitans in the evening and even made us a reservation for dinner nearby.

Lovely unspoilt location in little-known Arkengarthdale. Spacious rooms and central bar area with open fire. Staff were friendly and the food was good. Some nice touches like fresh milk for the in-room tea/coffee and they've prepared their own map showing a 2 mile walk around the local area

Warm and beautifully appointed with quality furnishings. Tea, coffee, milk, butterscotch biscuits and flapjacks provided. Fantastic shower. Everything thought of to make the stay very comfortable indeed. Amazing facilities cleverly tucked into a small space. Perfect for a single or couple.

Lovely house situated just off the road, quiet location with beautiful surrounding scenery. Welcoming hosts Jill and James, with plenty of knowledge about the area.
