I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Burford Lodge. The room I was in had a beautiful view of the marina. The room was very clean and I slept like a baby.
Sara the hostess was extremely friendly and welcoming when I went down for breakfast.
On the subject of breakfast, I had the best omelette ever!!
Most definitely will stay there again.

My accommodation at Dunleath House was excellent. The host was very welcoming and friendly, and my room had excellent facilities including a lovely bathroom (with shower and bath) and a lovely kitchenette (with a microwave, kettle, gas hob, fridge and tea/coffee). My room was very clean and tidy, and I appreciated that I had access to an extension lead and hairdryer within the room also. It totally suited my needs for my short stay, and I would recommend any person needing accommodation in this location to stay at Dunleath House 😊

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
This guest house has a great location. The facilities were very good and the whole property was spotless.
The breakfast was excellent with lots of local ingredients .
Ample parking at the property.

Immaculate in presentation. Way above my expectations given the price paid..
Finally the breakfast ....so good
Excellent location in a lovely seaside village
Sarah our host was friendly and charming
Lovely shared lounge area with multiple chairs and lounges TV and mini fridge with lovely seaview
Basic room but clean and comfortable beds and linen
We liked the old world charm, nicely done up to a contemporary and comfortable standard. The room and ensuite were super clean. The breakfast was perfect with a selection of cereals and a really nice fresh fruit salad followed by a great cooked breakfast and pot of tea or coffee. The staff were lovely, friendly and chatty. The location was right in a small quiet port town with fantastic historic buildings. We highly recommend Burford Lodge.
We felt so comfortable and at home here. place is spotlessly clean and boutiquey but not old and dusty….. we just loved every minute. The room was very warm and quiet and we slept well…. Sarah and her sister were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was the nicest I’ve had in a long time at a hotel. the location is just perfect and walking distance to the golf club where we ate dinner. Perfect place to get away from it all and chill out
thank you
