We had such a lovely time here! Graham and Karen were excellent hosts and I would definitely recommend asking Graham about local walks in the area as he pointed us to some excellent ones.

I had an amazing experience at Strathardle Lodge. The location is near to the highlands, surrounded by the natural beauty of Scotland, making it a perfect getaway. The lodge itself is cozy, well-maintained, and full of charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect during my stay. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore the local area, this is an ideal choice. As a summer lover brazilian couple, we loved to spent great days in Scotland winter.

Location and great service, nice and clean and tidy with all you would need for a single traveller.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
A perfect stay!! Felt like home!! Welcoming and friendly hosts and superb freshly made breakfast. The property is charming and beautifully decorated with great wall art!
The hosts very lovely people.
The room, breakfast and the architecture was oustanding within the guest house.
The owner gave us a map with locations we could visit whilst on our short break.
He also light a wood burning basket fire for us in his garden, whilst we enjoyed a alcoholic beverage.
Tigh Na Leigh was fantastic, the decor and room far exceeded all expectations. I travel globally for work and unfortunately Scotlands offerings are not usually great however TNL was exceptionally good on all aspects. Both Graham and Karen are great hosts. The breakfast was to a high standard with a great menu offering local produce and free range eggs used from the grounds and garden . This really is a hidden gem that I will be returning too whenever im working in this region.
Fantastic breakfast - delicious and varied. Beautiful well-kept large garden to sit in or to admire from the delightful airy breakfast room. Very friendly helpful hosts who were delightful and knowledgeable to chat with. Rooms were full of character and individually and attractively decorated. The house felt quiet and secluded. Really enjoyable stay!
location was awesome surrounded by farmland, ideal for a chillout break. recommend a visit to Reekie Linn Waterfall , only a mile up the road !! shops only a few miles down the road and we could have had shopping delivered. We did have a meal delivered at night from a local takeaway which was great. Debbie was a great host, left us some fresh eggs and a tasty lemon cake !
Responsive and friendly host; very well equipped, characterful cottage with a wood burning stove and en suite bathrooms; quiet village location with lovely walks nearby.
A stunning building, beautifully renovated. Karen’s interior design taste and skill shines through the whole house. More a boutique hotel than a guest house. Would expect to pay at least one and a half times what we did! The attention to detail in every aspect of our stay was superb. Wonderful breakfast, great choice of food, well-cooked and presented. Our hosts Graham and Karen were warm and welcoming.
I liked everything about the stay.
Great host's beautiful food.
Very clean.
I will most definitely be going back.
Great location for the weary walker especially just off the Cateran trail.
Brilliant stay thank you so much.
