We chose this place by chance as a stopover on our way around Scotland. The room was small but very cosy, comfortable and bright with a view of the countryside. Lovely large bathroom and comfortable beds. We appreciated the perfect and helpful attitude of the staff. The Indian restaurant in the hotel was excellent.

Great location, walking distance to all amenities. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Wet room was great with good shower. Wood burner was great in the lounge. Property was clean, quiet with plenty of hot water. Shop across the street, 3 restaurants within 20 yards, we didn’t use our car for 2 days as we could walk to everything.

Excellent host, made us feel very welcome and lit the log fire for our arrival after being delayed with bad weather The cottage is small but modern, very clean and great location. Great sleep, good bedding. Steep steps leading up to the bedroom, but no problem once you are used to this and hand rails are on each side of the stair. Kitchen well equipped with all you needed to cook a full meal. Good few pubs and restaurants near by that let you take in your dog. Fantastic new year in the square
