Valerie and Stepahane were perfect hosts, helping us with all of our needs. They have a little piece of heaven with their garden and animals, and they offer breakfast and different food options. The location is excellent for many sites and attractions from the Cadre Noir horse show to chateaus to troglodyte dwellings.

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying Cave Auger and it was nothing short of wonderful! From the moment we arrived, Stephane greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel right at home.
The cozy atmosphere of the B&B was perfect for our family, and Stephane and Gautier’s attention to detail in ensuring our comfort was truly appreciated. The room was spacious and well-appointed, providing plenty of space for our family to relax and unwind.
Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast at their kitchen and we had a chance to play with their lovely bulldog Bouchon. It was a great way to start our day before heading out to explore the area.
One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to share stories with them over a glass of wine in the evening.
Their warmth and hospitality made us think that this will not be our last visit to Loire.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
What a gem! A beautifully decorated studio with all amenities needed. Lovely shower, very comfortable bed. Right in the centre of Saumur, quiet, a safe place for bicycles. Very helpful but discreet hosts. Bravo to Patrice & Nadia
This property is exceptional! A great location - very close to Saumur - a very easy drive or bike ride. Preferable to stay at Petit Hureau than in Saumur itself. Jean is a great host and his breakfast delicious. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Highly recommended!
Clean. very well organised. Comfortable bed. Great view. In the city center. Free parking close by. Quiet. Very responsive and friendly host.
Visited in the summer with around 28 degrees and did not need any AC (not sure if there is one-portable)
Beautifully appointed house. Generous size of room, tastefully decorated, very comfortable bed.
Quiet location with river view. Safe storage for our bicycles. Welcoming, kind and attentive hosts,
who went and bought rye bread for my husband when they found out that he does not tolerate wheat.
Our hostess even prepared some waffles and madeleines from buckwheat just for his breakfast which
was excellent already with fresh fruit salad and homemade joghurt.
