The property was beautiful and quiet and the family was so kind and accommodating. The kids had a great time in the pool. It was a nice way to get some energy out after a long day driving. The provided breakfast was delicious with plenty for everyone.

Wonderful location; host was great fun and went out of her way to ensure a great stay; dinner and breakfast delicious - all home-cooking and to a very high standard.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
This facility was nice and quiet off season and secluded on expansive private property with close proximity to Guedelon archeology site and parking. Breakfast was delicious in a bright and tasteful common dining area.
The location in Saint Fargeau could not have been better. The host, although not present because of family problems, was most helpful by txt and telephone to make sure everything happened as it should do, such as gaining access to the property and ensuring breakfast was organised. The building was all you could expect from an old French house where Joan of Arc reputedly stayed. It is also ideal to visit the Guedelon project which is only a few miles away and was the reason for our stay.
A very warm and accommodating welcome awaits you. Comfy clean rooms, quiet and peaceful. Lovely location, perfect for visiting Guedelon and the cute town of Saint Fargueaux.
Lovely house, lovely garden and very attentive host who helped us book a very nice restaurant nearby, made us nice breakfast and helped us with tips for our following journey. A really peaceful little haven.
Naomi was a great host and we really enjoyed her company, she was most helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, lovely old restored building with a charming enclosed rear garden. We had an excellent breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Quaint accommodation. Our host was very relaxed and had attention to detail for toiletries. Loved the old charm of the place and felt very homely. Good restaurants within walking distance.
The property was so beautiful, finished to a high standard and very clean. We used the hot tub and the BBQ. Even dressing gowns were provided. The beds were very comfortable and being in the middle of nowhere meant it was very quiet. The host was there when we arrived and handover was very easy and pleasant. We stayed with our two children aged seven and ten. Can highly recommend!
