It's old rustic house. It looks like you went back a whole century to the past. I read comments here and I know some people didn't like that, but I did. It was fun to experience something like that. Bathroom was new and restaurated. Rooms are ok and at least my bed was comfortable.

The tranquil nature around, super stylish décore, cosy room, comfortable bedding and spacious bathroom. Breakfast was to our liking as well. Gourmet tea selection, homemade pancakes and good options for a savory meal. Many thanks to Mathilde, the owner of the place!!! Delightful French farm setting well situated to serve as a base for visiting the area around Valencay -- only a short drive from the impressive and historic Chateau and Talleyrand's Tomb -- and with safe and convenient parking. The furnishings were both comfortable (nice clean bathroom) and charming (our room included an 18th century armoire crafted for the proprietor's great-grandmother.) The breakfast offerings, featuring fresh country breads, preserves/jam, fruit and cheeses -- were all locally sourced and tastefully laid out in a quiet dining room by the proprietor, Benjamin Godefroy, who joined us in a pleasant conversation (in English!) until the time came for him to see his daughter off to school. A wonderful rural break from standard hotel accommodations.

The place is very clean, well appointed for a family of 3. Kitchenette served all the purpose of cooking a good meal with a micro wave oven, oven, coffee maker and induction cooker.
Despite being on the ground floor, the place is extremely quiet at night and a stone throw away from the center.
Parking is a mere couple of minutes away from the property.

Being located right in the city center, there is no private parking, but very close to a public parking at no cost from 19.00 until 9.00. Definitely would come back! We received a lovely warm welcome from Laetitia and Aldo. They went above and beyond when my husband asked if it would be possible to watch the rugby match on the TV by finding a chanel on the main TV.
As it was a Sunday we booked a meal. This was a home cooked delicious evening meal with a good selection of local wines.
They were excellent hosts who offered a very warm welcome in awell maintained and comfortable Guest House near the centre of Romorantin
We stayed in the top floor room with the open bathtub and pitched roof which we loved. Incredibly comfortable bed, nice attention to detail, and respect for the original architecture of the building. The self-check-in system is efficient, the host is very communicative, and there is paid parking right outside the door.
Great little guest house in centre of town. Beautifully furnished and decorated in keeping with traditional style. Commu al area very useful for breakfast, although it was occuied at the time we wanted to use it.
