We were greeted very warmly after a long drive to La Maison Genevier. The dinner was absolutely delicious and the room was very comfortable. The children enjoyed meeting all the animals. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to go for a swim due to the weather but the pool looked lovely! The breakfast was also delicious with lots of choice and all the food was exceptional quality.

Lovely and very helpful staff who let us check in early! We loved the grounds of the property and its proximity (5 minute walk) to the main square of the chateau.

A very warm welcome after a long drive and it was great to be able to go straight to our room and then straight to the pool.
Dinner was lovely and great to be able to know it was sorted.
Lovely to have a large space for the kids to run around in after a day in the car.
The cats charmed the kids as well.

Eric and Nathalie were super hosts! We enjoyed everything about our stay in their well appointed bed and breakfast. They were fun to communicate with (with the help of google translate) and the meals were top notch. Their hospitality was exceptional and will remain a wonderful memory of our time spent in France. The location was close to Amboise with onsite parking available. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet with bottled water available in the room. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and informative. Breakfast was delicious with homemade yoghurt, cereals, fresh squeezed juice and a selection of delicious pastries, breads and homemade cake available. There are multiple lounges with access to soft drinks, tea and coffee. There is even a billiard table available for use.
The was charming, and we appreciated all the nice little touches that made it feel like home. Our hosts were absolutely charming too and took the time to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was soooo good - with homemade jams!
It was beautifully presented and extremely clean. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. our hosts were absolutely charming and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend !
