We stayed for 7 nights in total, within the ground floor double room apartment. The room is quite bijou with an excellent ensuite shower room. The Toiletries provided were good quality and smelt lovely 👌
The kitchenette was adequate for easy to make meals with a hob and microwave.
Great location for the train station and a corner shop, one minute across the road for essentials and a good 15 minute walk into the centre of historic Limoges. We were very grateful for the tall floor standing fan due to it being quite warm.
The security was excellent via the main doors from the street and the housekeeper was happy to assist.
Any messages to the owner were answered very quickly and the baggage store was handy on the day we departed. All doors are key coded for security.

The area is so quiet, so peaceful.
It’s about a 5 minute walk to the memorial which is worth a visit. A very solemn place but beautifully preserved (if that’s the right thing to say?)
This is a charming chambre d'hote in a quiet little village just outside Limoges and was an excellent place for a stopover on my journey north. The welcome from the hosts could not have been warmer or friendlier. My host showed me round the room, how the various things like shutters worked and even recommended a local restaurant for dinner. The following morning, she brought a magnificent breakfast to my room, consisting of coffee, croissants, bread and toast, yoghurt, orange juice and preserves! Absolutely brilliant!
Jaqueline is a lovely, welcoming host. The rooms and facilities are just what you need and breakfast was delicious. Free parking, good wifi and 5 min drive into Oradour - a sombre and incredible site.
