Valerie and Stepahane were perfect hosts, helping us with all of our needs. They have a little piece of heaven with their garden and animals, and they offer breakfast and different food options. The location is excellent for many sites and attractions from the Cadre Noir horse show to chateaus to troglodyte dwellings.

The breakfast was freshly prepared each morning and the hosts even remembered when we didn’t eat certain food to customize the breakfast for us. They were extremely accommodating and drove us around the area and to the train station since we didn’t have our own car. The table d’hôte food was delicious. The view from the rooms and the breakfast patio is incredible.

We had a very nice stay. It was the first night of our vacation and it set the week off on a very good foot. The hotel was comfortable and roomy. The bathroom was nice and clean and had plenty of light. We slept well and breakfast was good. I would have like to be able to stay in Loudun a bit longer, but I will consider L'etape as a base for my next visit to the Loire region.

Charming B&B near Saumur, clean, modern furnishings. Excellent breakfast and very friendly host.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Quiet comfortable apartment, just opposite the fascinating Grange a Dime restaurant & 200m from the chateau. Free car parking adjacent. Host Guillaume very helpful.
Quite simply, this was one of the best properties we have stayed in. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The place is incredibly well-equipped - more like a real home than a short stay. It was also quiet. We wished we could have stayed longer.
Location is great, walking distance from the Château, restaurants, a range of shops and supermarkets in a beautiful town - perfect location from which to explore the Loire. Comfortable rooms, and a great host. Pretty pool and gardens.
Everything! The hosts are very welcoming, and I was made to feel at home since the moment I arrived.
The breakfast was great, the room was nice, quiet and the bed really comfy. On top of that, Montreuil-Bellay is a gorgeous place to be. Thanks!
Montreuil Bellay is a beautiful small picturesque town.
The building is a charming house form 16th century ideally located (10mns walk from the city centre).
Our bedroom was comfortable and had plenty of room.
The owner Nathalie is welcoming, very attentive and always trying to help.
The continental breakfast is very pleasant with homemade delights (jams, madeleines, pancakes, yogurts and pudding rice).
We really enjoyed our stay at the Manoir - although the house itself is being renovated our room and bathroom were modern & comfortable. The continental breakfast was tasty & filling. The hosts were very charming, generous and helpful.
The only caveat is that the rooms are accessed by very old stone, uneven circular staircase so it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility problems.
