The house and grounds were beautiful - very peaceful and well maintained (there were even live fish the pond). The pool area was the same - a perfect, heated pool with a view of the valley. The team running the hotel couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. We had a brilliant stay and I'm already thinking of when we can go back.

I really enjoyed my short stay here. The hosts were extremely friendly and made me feel very much at home. My room was well laid out and very nice. We had a lovely breakfast outside. The house is in a very rural area close to a number of charming villages with beautiful medieval church and houses. These are really beautiful to walk around with lots of character and some very nice restaurants.

Christelle was the perfect host. She looked after us really well and made sure we had everything we needed. Her recommendations were spot on and she speaks perfect English. The location was perfect and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Great shower and wifi. Nice to be able to make tea or coffee for the room. Great walks from the property. Very good breakfast. We had a lovely time.

Superb country stay. So many amenities available. The pool with its own little pool house and pool towels for your use. When you travel a long way the last thing you want weighing down your luggage is pool towels.
Superb breakfast, such abundance.
Such friendly people. Loved my stay.

Great place. Fantastic breakfast. We will stay here again.
Located in Larzac, within a 6-hectare estate, Domaine du Champ de l’Hoste offers a large outdoor salt water swimming pool, hot tub, bowling pitch and ping pong table.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The staff were very welcoming at this charming hotel. It offers free parking and is very close to the charming town center. It was quiet at night, which is very important to me. Unfortunately, we experienced very bad weather, so we were unable to enjoy the private terrace of our bedroom or the swimming pool in the garden. I wished I could have stayed longer than just one night at this lovely hotel.
Au bonheur des ruelles is situated in. a fantastic location, in a quiet street but minutes walk from everything that Monpazier has to offer. Not only were the Breakfast facilities superb and plentiful in the room, there was also complimentary croissant etc available at local patisseries.
Our host was friendly and informative and really made us feel at home
Fantastic location, had everything you could possibly need, including a table and chairs to sit outside when weather was warmer. Isabelle was a great and hospitable host. She provided an immaculate space, breakfast, coffee machine and it was very quiet at night and we slept very well. A lovely bar across the street and 11am checkout. Cannot do better as base for local exploring. Highly recommended
Easy parking, near to centre but quiet and peaceful.Extremely comfortable everything you needed for a short stay.Very good value and pleasant and helpful host Isabelle.
The staff were so welcoming. The room very comfortable with lovely quiet air conditioning. Parking very easy and location perfect to explore Monpazier.
And dinner. Where to start? We had one of the best dinners ever, sitting on the outside terrace. It doesn't come cheap but it was worth every penny. Congratulations to all the staff. We had a very memorable stay.
Hotel Edward 1er was in a great location to explore the surrounding villages. It was exceptionally quiet. Breakfast was very good, although limited selection such as scrambled eggs only.
Bed was comfy, shower was hot.
Free parking
Quite old fashioned but with its own take on modernism. A very comfortable room, extremely quiet and conducive to a great sleep. Great host, Chantal was receptive, friendly and even organised our evening meal with a great venue. The situation of the hotel was great right in the centre of the town. The lovely breakfast was an added bonus. Really great value for money and a genuinely lovely stay.
