An enchanting place. I very much hope I can return one day. Countryside, vineyards, hospitality, a very good swimming pool, plants both wild and cultivated....eagles soaring overhead and entertainment from the acrobatic swifts swooping over the swimming pool...all so soothing and rejuvenating. Bed and bedding excellent. Good bathroom. Handsome building.

We loved the peace and tranquility of the accommodation and the warm, friendly welcome of the hosts. It was great sitting outside our apartment and enjoying the beautiful garden. The homemade bread, fresh pastries, dairy products, homemade jams, and fruit juice for breakfast were a treat! The room was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished, and the bed was very comfy—a little home-from-home!

Location was stunning, high up overlooking the surrounding countryside, and within easy reach of lots of Bergerac, lots of chateauxes, old medieval towns. The Gîtes were beautiful with gorgeous furnishings, modern interiors, fully equipped and a delight to stay in. The facilities were amazing (large pool, tennis court, bicycles, croquet, boules), and the hosts were super helpful and friendly.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The location was extremely peaceful and quiet, My room was beautiful with a lovely terrace and the hostess was charming and extremely helpful with everything.
Clair and David are great hosts! They are very friendly and considerate, and they made us feel like we are at home.
The house itself is at a super convenient location between Bergerac Airport and Plum village, where we practice mindfulness living.
And there are very nice local farms within walking distance that grow the most delicious strawberries! Everyone we met around the neighborhood is lovely. We will be back again.

Wonderfull host and being in the middle of a vinyard , very quiet. Breakfast was also very good and the bed was very comfortable. Short drive up the hill to the Chateau to buy excellent white wine. The pool looked amazing although we didn't use it during our short stay
Claire is a great host. Very attentional to the guest’s needs. The view to the field of grapes. The quietness of the surroundings. The breakfast baguette and croissants are incredible.
