Our stay was incredible. The owner Bibi has created a magazine-worthy homestead with cabins, bedrooms, and main rooms adorned with antique furniture and artwork. Hygge is the only word to describe it. The house itself is amazing. The location is great, just a short drive to Contis, a wonderful fine-sanded beach with a few shops, cafes, and a bar. There are local farm tours and markets, so plenty of things to explore.
Bibi is an exquisite host and an amazing cook. We were invited to dine at the property and breakfast was included. Both blew us away with full flavors and homemade whenever possible. Our visit was an unforgettable and lovely experience all around.
This guest house is just 5 mi from Contis Beach, halfway between Bordeaux and Bayonne.

A very charming guest house with a large gated yard, right in town. Very comfortable rooms, and a truely delicious breakfast. Fabrice was a wonderful, freindly and helpful host! She spoke English very well, and recommended a restaurant that we walked to for one of the best meals of our trip. We rode our own bikes, and she was kind enough to let us park them in her bike shed.

Amazing old country house with an amazing host and chef Vincent. Hospitality was top notch, food was delicious and the room was stunning. Well worth the extra drive away from the main roads. Also highly recommend you get dinner as well as breakfast

Our hosts were wonderful, great personalities and very accommodating! Margot'te has wonderful decorating tastes both inside and outside our room. There is a nice garden and many places to sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. Our room was exceptionally clean and the breakfasts were very good. Great location, close to the beach and the local market.

This has been our most unique stay. After the most dreadful of days out host welcomed us after 9pm, and gave us safe haven.
The sound of silence is awesome in this most unique place. A little bit like glamping but in a bus.

Parking in front of the house is sufficient for two cars.
Wild boars in the wood behind the house, we haven’t met them but lots of paw prints around the house and on the street to the city center.
About a 15 minute walk to the beach which has a beautiful promenade.

A lovely Chambres d'hote with beautiful garden and room. Very quiet and the hosts were very friendly and helpful providing secure storage for my bike and advice on evening restaurants a short walk away in to the village. A lovely place to stay made special by all the work to personalise the room and the friendliness of the hosts. Breakfast was excellent sitting outside in the lovely garden.
It was easy for keys etc. Good communication from host Rachael. Apartment clean and tidy. Great location for beach, restaurants and walks. Comfy beds and best powerful hot shower by far.
We had an amazing stay at Gerard's house, the room was confortable and clean. The area is also very quiet and we had a very relaxing time. Gerard was a woderful host that knows the area really well and could give us great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. We recommend his breakfast that can be served in the garden if the weather allows. He allowed us as well to use two bikes so we could also have the chance to visit the villages around. Great hospitality, we will definitely come back. Thank you Gerald!
