We have come to this region for 20 years and this was the best stay! Excellent communication, very caring and responsive hosts, easy checkin, great local rec's. Very lovely accommodations. Loved the way our hosts renovated the facility, keeping the character of the old building and updating with every modern convenience. Gorgeous, fun art and photography everywhere. Well-appointed common kitchen. Enjoyed meeting fellow travelers yet had total privacy. Room was thoughtfully arranged and warm, perfect for late November. Excellent location. We will be back soon!

This is a superb house in quiet rural France. The house itself has loads of character but is very modern inside. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom is lovely. Loads of room and plenty of little extra's like coffee bags for the machine. The outside area was lovely to sit and BBQ. The surrounding area has plenty to explore, especially liked a wander around the lake. The restaurant close by is well worth a visit
Magnificent chateau in a great location overlooking the lake. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Great breakfast in the kitchen of the chateau, which is unique, and super friendly staff.
This was such an idyllic setting and so neat to stay in such a historic chateau. We loved the chateau and the whole area was beautiful to explore. Thank you to Cecile and Nicola for hosting us.
Great location within walking distance of a large leisure lake. Nice gite with an enclosed private garden that was ideal as we had our pet dog with us. The hosts were excellent and despite neither of us speaking each others language we somehow managed to communicate.
Great tranquil location with view over lake. Beautifully restored chateau. Hosts very helpful and great restaurant propositions. Plentiful breakfast on terrace.
The accommodation was just what we expected. In the middle of the forest, exceedingly quiet. Quite a small place, but just what we expected from the description. Other reviews have said about levels of cleanliness and the presence of mice. We did not find this to be the case. It was clean and rodent free!
