really lovely welcome from charming lady
beautiful location, fantastic view from room. downstairs areas and gardens were nice. easy to park. no english spoken but the lady was very patient with my french. i asked for a room with a bath and i got one as requested. plenty of hot water. kettle and tea and coffee provided. enough power sockets

Claudine is a great host. She sent photos of the parking space, how to get the key and access the apartment via the lift and short flight of stairs. During the afternoon she sent a message to let us know the coffee machine wasn't working so that we could plan accordingly. This is a real home from home where you could definitely stay for several days. Well located near the river close to the town, shops and restaurants. It is a residential block so nice and quiet with designated off road parking.
This is a typical youth hostel with numerous rooms, shared toilet and shower facilities, table tennis table. Functional in other words and cheap. It sits on a short walking distance from the train station, next to a football and outdoor sports fields. The breakfast is served in an adjacent building, simple with only marmelade served. Coffee too, which is important for me.
We needed one night stay to break long trip from France to UK. This hotel is perfect for that. Despite the fact that this is rather small hotel our family room was good size. Parking in the hotel (have to book it). One of the cleanest hotels I have been to. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Lovely staff. Literally in the city centre so you can take a 2 hour walk and enjoy charming city of Laval. Just great!
