We were welcomed by very nice hosts (Flore and Pierre) who did everything to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast is lavish, and we enjoyed the conversations with the other guests and the hosts. Many sights (Rocamadour, Martel, the Dordogne river) are close, and Flore gave us great advice on how to get there. We also strongly recommend the excellent restaurant "La Terrasse", which is just a five-minutes walk from Le Kouloury.
Situated in Loupiac, in a historic building, 24 km from Merveilles Cave, Maison Les Chandelles is a recently renovated guest house with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and garden.

We had a lovely stay. Everything was perfect. The location was great and peaceful and the place had a great vibe. The hosts, Kevin and Jennifer were simply amazing. 1. Perfect place to get away from it all and to relax and unwind.
2. Jérôme could not have been more attentive and welcoming.
3. The house is spacious and elegant with fantastic facilities (we especially appreciated the pool and jacuzzi and will use the tennis courts next time!) and stunning views. There is also a kitchen you and other guests can make use of.
4. Great breakfast experience. Jérôme was very attentive and it is a beautiful spot where you can see Osiris the goat pottering around outside.
5. You can just about reach the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat by foot but a short drive is easier.

The property was well located with a 5 minute walk into the old city centre. Our room was one of three, spotlessly clean and very quiet. There was a fully equipped communal kitchen including a washing machine. The pool and surrounds were very clean and pool towels were provided. The owners, who live on the property in a separate house, had very little English but there were a list of rules in English posted in the room. We were provided with a lovely continental breakfast and freshly made pancakes from 08.30. Parking was on a small grassy public area beside a no through road.

Peaceful, green surroundings in a great region. Pierre and Sophie are very welcoming hosts. The gite is well-equipped. Nice swimming pool and only two gites. Huge outdoor area. Village with nice restaurants only a few kilometres away - try the local market and its open air restaurant!
Its unusual and quirky but done to such a high standard. Lovely decor, such a comfortable stay, with everything you need. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. The food was lovely and it’s easy to park, with some lovely outdoor space.

The whole room was very nice, modern and chic with an amazing view. We also had an outdoor snug which was a really nice touch, we sat, drank French wine and enjoyed the view. So peaceful!!

Beautiful room high above Souillac with a great panoramic view of the valley and the viaduct. Very agreeable hosts and good breakfast on the outdoor terrace. Excellent bathroom and shower. Very tasteful modern decoration.
We passed a super 4 days at lapausedegout. I would recommend it to ANYONE. Isa and Stephane were so friendly and welcoming, breakfast was a treat and the quality of their B&B is superb. Situated just outside the town of Sioulac they have achieved a perfect balance between the quiet of the countryside and the energy of a town. Ten out of ten.
