We stayed with 3 kids. Originally we booked two rooms but our dates changed in the last minute so we had to share a room which was cozy but fine. Rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything was top quality including towels, linen and the very comfortable beds. Breakfast, which is included, is good. There is an option for dinner (smells were amazing) that we didn't take.

This is a grand old house that is still family run. For hikers on the Via Francigena, it's extemely close to the trail (as in, right outside the door). It's filled with character and is a real charmer. Our host prepared a simple, but hearty, meal for us which was exactly what we needed. A swimming pool is available. For hikers in need of washing their clothes, the sinks are large and a clothes line is available. We had the entire upper floor to ourselves, so it was very quiet and private. (Getting up there after a long day's hike was graon inducing, but whaddya gonna do?)
