This is the place to stay if you are looking for genuine ' French Period' chic. The old family house has been beautifully done up and you are right in the middle of the town square in the charming small village of Galan, the hosts are very thoughtful and kind and the breakfast served outside is second to none. Definitely recommend over the other Le Clos, which I have also recently stayed at (unless having a swimming pool is important to you). There are 3 restaurants (one of which is a 3 Star Michelin) all within walking distance of your B and B.

This is a small hotel in perfect location for night stop, the staff was very polite, the room was nice and comfortable, Very good breakfast based upon local products, I had dinner- there was a barbeque evening when I stayed with many people attending, a local singer and very good food (reasonably priced).

We loved the property. It is an amazing 1800’s which has been set up beautiful, is has the most generous hosts who really look after you. A beautiful pool and amazing yard.
Very good location to explore surroundings, castles, old churches / abbeys and caves. Clean and pleasant. View on the garden, quiet, a lot of small birds chirping. Secure parking. Good breakfast. Very sympathetic and friendly owner.
Lovely lady but with a VERY big bouncy dog. House was accomodating bedroom nice though old. Evening food very limited to one pizza restaurant but that was very nice and friendly.
I told the host that we spoke very little french but she kept talking adn sat with us through breakfast and gave a long story about (I think) the dog escaping over the fench and her calling the police to help.... not sure but was a good stay overall.
Reg and Sue were brilliant hosts. They took care of everything and were always willing to help. Highly recommend the place! They serve delightful breakfast, the rooms are really spacious and clean, if you want to cycle they are well equipped.
