Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The breakfast was fantastic. A little different every day, always tasty,. crammed with local products. Wonderful! Our host was wonderful, and we learnt a lot about the region from her. Thanks, Yvonne!
Excellent and charming accommodation. Convenient to cultural sites and beaches. Most helpful, generous and friendly hostess who did all she could to help in our exploration of the area. Breakfast was a feast ! Crepes, freshly cooked as we watched!
Very friendly, generous host in a beautiful home. Yvonne is wonderful. Excellent location to explore the area and Yvonne has lots of knowledge that she willingly shares. Breakfast is amazing. We loved our stay.
We loved our stay. Such a spacious room with sitting room and large bathroom.
Olivier was very helpful and we were able to put our bicycles in the shed.
Breakfast was fabulous with choice of local cheeses and meats. Also a wonderful local prune tart which Olivier had made was delicious and we were given two pieces for our journey.
Such a kind host. I wish we could have stayed longer.
Thank you
Both hosts were lovely young people speaking fluent English. The room turned out to be large and rustical, as it should be in an old mill. The beds were large and comfy, the view from the window to water was calm and rural.
Everything was fabulous from our lovely hostess (Yvonne) to the comfortable bed, clean linen and amazing breakfast. There is so much character to the property and it is in a quiet location where you really feel like you’re getting away from it all.
Large room was very comfortable with a queen bed and a single bed, up one flight of stairs.
Beautiful bathroom.
Very quiet.
Private parking on site but be careful of the stone well.
When pressed, the hostess agreed to do a load of washing and I hung it outside.
Exceptional! Very friendly and kind hosts. A wonderful set of rooms with perfect facilities, books, DVDs, CDs in a charming peaceful setting just 200m from the GR34. Breakfast was fantastic. And such brilliant value - worth twice the price.
The attractive stone house with the charming stone well in the garden was perfect. We had a spacious room at the top of the house which was tastefully furnished with a period writing desk, occasional chairs etc. The hostess was marvellous and so helpful. The breakfast was amazing, in a gorgeous kitchen diner where we were served traditional Breton fare. It was a wonderful and relaxing stay. Close by is the incredible village of Meneham, and a coastline of impressive boulders, white sandy beaches and turquoise seas. Truly scrumptious!
Location was very peaceful, remote even. A very characterful property, charming and very helpful host, supplying lots of local information.
Breakfast was much better than expected, plenty of it, lots of choice.
