A beautiful place, surrounded by nature and beautiful garden, which has many hideaway places. The place is a beautiful retreat from the luxuries of the city life and makes you appreciate everything we have in modern homes. It's not for everyone, but we enjoyed our short stay.
The hostess is very hospitable, she was kind enough to wait for us when we were 3 hours late to check-in after a very long traffic delay. The breakfast was nice, the room and the food make us feel like royalty.

The area around was very calm, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. There was a place to sit and just chill outside of the room, a nice change from hotels where you don't have this freedom. Breakfast was very tasty.

The hosts were very helpful and they went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable.
They even offered me something to eat on a Sunday when I arrived late and no restaurants were open.
They also offered me a safe place to park my motorbike although their parking area was quite adequate.
This was a return visit for us and it was just as amazing this time as it was before. Everything was superb. Our hosts made us so welcome. We picnicked in the lovely garden - it's massive! Our breakfasts were sumptuous, particularly the home made breads. Our room was spacious, clean and finished to a high standard. The location is ideal to explore the area around Verdun. Superb.

As a celiac I only had a little cheese and a yogurt but my brother in law said that the baguette and croissants were lovely. The home made jams were delicious too. The rooms are spacious, quirky and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the shower strong. The hosts were lovely, they don’t speak English but used google translate to its full at check in and also at breakfast just to make conversation. Lovely place, would stay again.
