The Kota was absolutely fantastic. It was immaculately clean, so comfortable and cosy with such a high quality finish.
We loved everything about it.
Phillipe was a wonderful host and his breakfasts were delicious.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Lovely hosts. So very friendly and waited at the property for us to arrive as we were delayed until late evening. Great location in a beautiful French village. Bakery in the Village provided us with some lovely breakfast. Just a really nice feeling to our stay. We stayed overnight on our way to the Alps, but would happily have stayed a few days longer and think it would have been perfect for a mini break.
Driving from Calais to Tignes and back, Au Coeur du Fountaine was perfectly located for our overnight stays. The property was very comfortable and oozes charm and character. Hosts Cecile and Franck were amazing hosts and extremely welcoming and friendly. They also kindly booked evening meals at local restaurants for us to make our stay even more hassle-free.
We cannot recommend Au Coeur du Fountaine and Cecile and Franck highly enough and hope to stay again if travelling the same way in future.
Very cute, original, old French house. Large, pretty rooms with enough space for our puppy and have our privacy. Cecile and Franck were lovely hosts. They were very welcoming and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. We loved seeing the ducks and rabbit as well in their beautiful garden.
- For a family of five, the rooms were perfect - a double bedroom for the adults, a triple bedroom for the children and a generous modern bathroom all off a living area.

- Our children particularly enjoyed meeting the different animals/pets in the garden

We received many hints on fine tuning our activites in the region and making the most the stay.
The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the home made jelly & local chese.
The garden is very quiet and allows one to relax and offers good opportunities for children to play.
Franck and Cecile were very cordial hosts 😊 The apartment/room was pretty spacious and included a fence to keep our daughters from going down the stairs. Our daughters enjoyed the toys in the room. Breakfast included homemade jams, fresh croissants and a lovely chat with Franck while Cecile entertained our kids in the fully enclosed yard.
We loved the totally uncomplicated way of communication with the host. Due to an enormeous delay we could not arrive in time but the host was very understanding and totally uncomplicated about it. We felt we were in good hands Upon entry of the house, we were impressed as to how beautiful it was decorated. A cosy home with everything available. Everything in the house was clean, from the toilets to the showers to the bedrooms. We had a wonderful stay. We gladly will return on our next trip! Thank you to the hosts, you made our stay wonderful !
House is decorated with lots of taste, very well equiped and extremely clean. Host Cyril is also a very warm and charming personality who welcomes you with his heart and passion. Very attentive to our needs (even booked us a table at a great nearby restaurant).
