The owner has transformed an old townhouse into a gem with modern amenities renovating the old things, where possible. Very charming and lovely.
The breakfast is certainly not typically French and fulfills every need. Plenty to eat and drink!
The staff is very friendly and really helpful. You name it and she tries to fulfill your wish, if it is at all possible.
One walks appr. 7 minutes to the center and in ca. 45 min around this pittoresk city. It is much nicer than depicted in the Chtˋi movie. Certainly worth a trip. We certainly will come back to "Phillipine" and Bergues.

What a beautiful and welcoming place. Highlights include the massive, super comfy bed, decor & cleanliness, lovely courtyard setting of the apartment & gorgeous garden but most of all our welcoming host and the amazing breakfast (homemade yoghurt and juice, lovely pastries) in the beautiful main house. If you close your eyes and imagine France, it's this!

Charming property in a great location, genuinely 50 metres to the beach! Street parking is difficult, but the hosts had kept a place for us outside the property, which is an example of how friendly and helpful they are. The cosy apartment has a homely feel with many personal decorative touches.
Geoffrey is a great host. He was always available and ready to help at any time. We communicated in English which made it very easy as I don’t know any French.
The apartment is sun filled and quiet. Perfect for a great getaway.
The apartment had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The host even provided some sweet biscuits to have with the coffee he provided.

Excellent breakfast with good products prepared by a great host. Shared table with other guests. Lovely old house well appointed rooms. Quiet location a short walk from the promenade. On street parking was possible right outside the hotel.
A charming property in a very quiet location. It was a lovely walk up the sea front to central Dunkirk. The hosts were very helpful and pleasant. Nice breakfast.
Great hosts, kept us updated with road works going on and how to get keys etc. Lovely little room with all the facilities you need for a short stay. Good location, quiet at night but only a short walk to the beach.
