Alain, Beatrice and Johannes were very welcoming and helpful hosts. When we asked about local restaurants, not only did they recommend places but called the restaurants to make reservations, which was very much appreciated.
Gîte de la Valière is located in Chevigny-en-Valière, just 10 miles from Beaune Exhibition Center and 16 miles from Chalon sur Saône Exhibition Center.

The contact with Isabelle was very professional from the reservation time .
When I arrived at Chateau de la Villeneuve Isabelle welcomed me personally and introduced me to the property and to my room. I appreciated her kindness and her wish for me to feel "at home". The room was spacious and at a very comfortable temperature considering it was one of the hottest day at 35 degrees.
A few days before I arrived I contacted Isabelle to check if they served diner.She sent me immediately the menu she proposed for diner with local products. The table was set for me on the terrace facing the garden and I had an excellent diner with fresh products and local specialties. It was a delicious 4 course meal (including cheese) and good value for money at 25 euros.
I felt like staying at friends house in a splendid well maintained and with all comfort large 18th century house.
I recommend to anyone looking for a true French experience.

Extremely friendly and responsive host, nice well equipped kitchen and lovely backyard, quiet place and neighbourhood(although at first sight the neighbourhood felt a bit dodgy and run down). Self-service breakfast was nicely arranged.
The apartment was a great location a short walk to secure covered parking. Chalon sur soane motte and to the city centre.
The apartment had full amenities and was perfect for our family stop over. It was nice and clean.
The apartment block is lovely and clean and felt secure too.
We would happily stay here again. Hosts were great.

The apartment zentop had everything needed for our travel by bicycle. The host was very friendly. Quiet surrounding. We come again next time in the area.

A very quiet special and peaceful place tucked away in the city. The host’s personal vision really works! Charming well thought out. All equipment in the apartments was excellent. Clean pool, friendly environment. David is a very lovely man, super positive, calm,considerate and with a great sense of humour. He understands what is important in life. Also the optional food and drink is excellent!!!
