Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
We had a super nice and stylish apartment (not only a room). It was so cosy! The location of the chalet with the mountains and the quietness let us forget everything even the efforts of an exhausting cycling day!
The landlady was very friendly and helpful. The reservation she did for us in the nearby restaurant let us experience a fantastic dinner. Also, our bikes were safely stored during the night.
The breakfast was also very nice and the warm baguette in the morning was so delicious.
I highly recommend to visit the chalet!
Always again!
very charming house in the heart of Bonneval. Very spacious room, bathroom and kitchen/lounge. Balcony with mountain view. Our host was very welcoming and breakfast was good too. Extra point for the kid's room with many toys which delighted our kids.
The host is extraordenary. She was very helpful even if my is a little rusty. She did a reservation at the local Restaurant for dinner.
The early breakfast was excellent! If I do the „Route des Grandes Alpes“ again, I will come back!
Everything about the accommodation was superb. The appartement was spacious with a balcony with super mountain views. The bedroom was lovely with super comfortable bed. Our host was so friendly and helpful and provided us with very useful help for our onward journey saving us valuable time. The breakfast was very good with homemade produce.
Great location directly on the slopes. Good wifi and well equipped kitchen (including espresso machine)
