Caroline was the kindest host. she took extra time to answer all of our many questions about the local area and Tour Dr France coming through town. The property is incredibly clean and well maintained. We felt like we were at our own home. We can’t wait to go back. She was also very fluent in English, which was fantastic for us Americans that have failed their French classes, like me.

Everything was perfect from the welcome we received upon arrival to our breakfast at time of departure.

Really sweet property, such lovely hosts, the prefect place to stay getting off Le Shuttle at the start of our holiday in France. The breakfast topped it off, especially for our children!

This is our second stay at la Hulotte au Col Haut and like the first time we were delighted with our stay. We only stayed over night on 2 occasions but the location for us is ideal as not far from the motorway.
Our children loved the breakfast there (it is fantastic!) and I suspect wanted to go back mainly for this reason :)
The hosts are lovely and very accommodating, the place is clean and beds confortable, it is very quiet so we could rest properly before tackling the rest of our journey. We will definitely consider going back.
We absolutely loved it and Philippe and Cynthia were wonderful hosts. Our bedroom was spotless with a superbly comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. It was so convenient for the tunnel and extremely quiet and rural with cows grazing in a nearby field! We appreciated having a kitchen at our disposal after our long drive and the breakfast was all laid out for us and delicious with homemade jams! We shall definitely be booking again!

The decor, beautiful classic French style! Super breakfast served at the time we chose. Wonderful hosts and peace and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and it was bright and airy. A huge garden to use too!
