This property is family owned and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. I chose the property as it was close to Lille to return my rental car the next morning, and I was keen to have an easy meal in house after a busy few days. I enjoyed practising my French with the other house guests over dinner and the delicious breakfast. My bedroom was huge, with an en suite bathroom and the bed was super comfortable. I slept really well.
I was having some problems getting instructions from the rental car company as to where to return the car and my host, Eric, was as frustrated as I was trying to get information. The next morning Eric offered to come with me to Lille to work out where to take the car ( which we did after more frustration) and then he kindly helped me with my bags to the train station and made sure I knew exactly which train to catch. I could not have hoped for more help and it will be remembered tor a long time!

Great location for the main squares, small Carrefour supermarket on the next street, quiet despite being so close to the centre. A clean, comfortable apartment. We were met by a friendly host who let us in and showed us around. And a lovely, gentle dog belonging to the neighbours strolled over to welcome us.

A wonderful oasis in Arras, less than 10 min walk from the Place des Heroes. Charming hosts who made you feel very welcome in their perfectly restored 18th Century home as well as providing lots of information on things to see and do around Arras. Large bedroom and ensuite with walk-in rainshower and views over the gardens. Varied breakfast with fresh fruit, local cheeses etc. Secure car parking behind the large solid gates (we had a convertible so this was important). Our new favourite place to stay on the way home.
