Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location, nice and cool rooms. Swimming pool was very nice. Garden around the house made you feel relaxed. Parking spot made it very easy to come and go when you want. Hosts were very friendly and always available to provide sufficient information.
This is unusual accommodation. You will either find it the best on your trip, or you might find fault with details. Taken in the round, it is is an exceptional, interesting and comfortable apartment. The host, Eric, is charming, relaxed and helpful.

Great location, free carpark right outside. Market outside on Saturday morning. Quiet room. Shared fridge and microwave in the lobby as helpful. We had a terrace which was bare and in an inner courtyard but useful for drying our washing on.
Nathalie is a friendly and helpful host. We liked the rooms and the charming atmosphere of the accommodation. And of course, Provence is a beautiful place, and Apt is right in the middle to explore it.
Great staff, very kind host able to speak languages other than French which is not so common. Great location close to the road (but very peaceful), 10 minute drive from the path of ocres (strongly reccommended visit).
The apartment was perfectly situated with shops (baker's, pharmacy) around the corner. IThe apartment had everything we needed (especially air conditioning - essential in summer!). Lots of good restaurants nearby. It was also very quiet, particularly at night. Best of all, the welcome of our host, S., who picked us up at the railway station after we missed the last bus.
