The location is really nice, there is a bakery around the corner, and a cafe and a restaurant in town. This village is beautiful, and has plenty of the regional medieval houses, but not spoiled by tourism as many of the other towns. The hosts are really friendly and made us feel very welcome. If you're into this, there are many places you can go wine tasting, you can just walk to.

Ammerschwihr is a tiny village set in beautiful countryside. Sadly for us was a little too quiet - no restaurants open on a Saturday night! Luckily the supermarket wasn't too far from the apartment
A beautiful, unique place with great views of the Alsatian scenery, mountains, valley, and rural treasures.
The host, Nicholas, was extremely agreeable on the phone and went out of his way to be hospitable.
