Comfortable self-catering guesthouse, very clean, with easy check in/out process via tourist information office, great location in village, walking distance to bus, supermarket, ferry to Vestmanna bird cliffs, and hiking trails, including beautiful arboretum in village. Excellent value.

I loved the overall atmosphere and vibe of the place, with a common kitchen and dining room and a reading room with magazines and books. It lent itself well to fellow travelers coming together to discuss experience in the Faroes and other travel adventures as well. And I loved the original art and posters. The bedrooms are not huge but comfortable and a terrific location right on the water and a short seven-minute walk into town. The host Kent who spoke briefly with was very friendly and accessible. I highly recommend and certainly would stay here again

Beautiful town with astonishing view. The guesthouse has everything you need: big kitchen, a few bathrooms, also living room, where you can play or talk with other guests. The host is open and helpful.
Our room #3 was clean and the beds were OK.
We missed a chair, a small litter bin and a wardrobe.
The baths were clean, but they need much more maintanance. For example: no water at one sink, one door could not be shut, the shower hose in the large bathroom was broken.
We didn't use the other facilities so we can not rate them, but they looked proper.
Kristjan is a very friendly host.
It was a challenge for us, but this guesthouse is better for younger people.
Kristian was a great host. Very good and positive energy! The guesthouse itself was amazing! Huge kitchen, nice showers and bathrooms and a lot of entertainment options! Highly recommend!
