This guesthouse appears to have been recently redecorated. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom was very clean and spacious with excellent underfloor heating.
The hostel is located 30 miutes walk from the airport along a walk way. It is also about 30 minutes walk from the ferry to Mykines.
Location was excellent although there was quite a lot of traffic for a quiet town passing the window possibly because of proximity to port. We picked here because of short distance to Mykinnes. House was old but quaint and very comfortable.

Easy booking process - got all relevant info in advance. Bedroom, bathroom and kitchen facilities were all in good condition.
The host also rents cars - definitely recommend using this service, super easy as well and the cheapest option on the islands I could find.
Kent and Maria are excellent hosts who are easy-going, flexible and always available for all questions! The guesthouse is cosy, clean, and well-located - one can walk there from the airport in around 30 minutes. Ideal for late night arrivals and early morning flights (which both applied to my case). Despite this, they offered me a ride to the airport on my departure day - awesome! The room was comfortable and had everything I need. The view over the bay is a plus after waking up.
