Very close to the national park. Nice little sub-alpine village. Breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. Didn't eat dinner, but the dining area and menu looked great.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The welcome at Hostal Escuils was the warmest I have ever had. The bedroom and bathroom are extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and the basics (tea bags, cakes, toiletries etc) are refreshed daily if needed The standard is way above what you would expect from a hotel in this category. The wifi works well. The parking could not be more convenient. But if all of that is not enough to convince you, I am happy to say that Maria and her mother are the best hostesses you will ever find!
We spent a wonderful week at the Hostal Escuils. Maria, our host, treated us most kindly and supported us in all necessary ways. Not to speak about the great breakfast. If you take into accout that we do look at a hostal and not a four star hotel then the convenience plus the warm personality of our host is outstanding. Thank you, Maria!
What an absolute treasure!
The breakfast is very complete and cook to order. Good variety of fruit and egg options.
The room was clean and well ventilated. Bathroom was fine as well.
Wifi throughout the place.
Nice views from our room and public (free) parking by the back garden.
The hosts, just the best of the place. Always happy to help and give good tips about the ski-slopes and the area.
Repetiremos! 😊
Pretty and charming place with lovely views in a beautiful location.
